The Writing for Health team is based in the offices of Faces in the Street:Urban Mental Health Research Institute, St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, Australia.

Please note that Writing for Health does not provide a counselling service. For mental health support, please see the information under Get Help below.

If you would like psychological support:

Please speak to your GP about options for mental health services.  For example, in some cases GPs can refer patients to see a psychologist or psychiatrist, with a Medicare rebate available.  Your GP may also be able to assist you in accessing your local community mental health team.

There are also a range of Internet-based treatment programs for depression and anxiety.
